Mati Beachside apartment with shared Pool

Perfect for a relaxing break. Positive: Karolina was very helpful and sent us all the information required to find the property and how to gain entry with the keys in the lock box. Once the guest information forms were completed she sent me a link with maps, pictures and a video, along with the code for access. I noted one reviewer saying it was difficult to find the property but we didn't have too much trouble even though our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until about 1am. It was dark because the outside lights are turned out during the night but we still managed to find our way with the help of the video. The first floor apartment was decorated in a lovely modern style and was clean and well presented. There was plenty of room for our family (2 adults, 2 children). It had 3 lovely balconies, that have tables and chairs, plus a 4th balcony/terrace where you gain access to the property via the stairs. It was well equipped with plenty of crockery/cutlery, well equipped kitchen, washing machine and plenty of towels for our 2 week stay. The pool was lovely with different levels perfect for small children to paddle and deeper areas for swimming. There were also sun beds provided. Set in well maintained gardens, it was peaceful and we had it to ourselves for much of our stay. There were also sunbeds provided. The property had wi-fi which was had good signal strength and even worked down by the pool area. It was in a great location, only 5 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and shops but far enough away that it was peaceful too. We enjoyed out stay at Mati Beachside very much and would definitely stay again if we came back to Almyrida. Negative: Nothing. The only thing as a small suggestion for future guests would be to leave 2 bath mats for 2 week stays. We had plenty of towels but only one bath mat that we could find. It would have helped with 4 people showering to be able to wash/rotate them but just a minor thing.

Positive: The location of the apartment is great and the whole place is really wonderful. We enjoyed our stay. The pool was very nice as well and the space was nicely decorated. Close to the apartments, we had restaurants and coffee places which were a plus to our experience. The living room is big, and the kitchen was well equipped. Nights are very quiet at this place since it's not on the main road, but it's still close enough to all the facilities you need on a vacation. Negative: Cleanliness could be improved, and we would have appreciated a second set of towels for long stays. Also, the smell coming from the bathroom/pipes is a bit annoying. These would be improvements to make the stay even more pleasant, but all in all, we didn't regret our choice and would pick this apartment again.

Tremendous apartment with great facilities close to the village and beach. Positive: Great 1st floor 2 bed apartment; spacious, clean and well equipped - 3 balconies and very effective aircon. Lovely shared swimming pool and very quiet while we were there. Fantastic communication from hosts - which is always very assuring. Negative: Nothing

Great apartment in quiet area but close enough to seafront. Would defintely book this one again. Positive: Size of apartment was really good- more spacious than expected and well presented. 2 bedrooms and 3 balconies with furniture (2 back and 1 front) so we had good sun and also shadey areas at all times. Plenty of crockery, kitchen equipment etc. Beds comfy. Gardens and pool nicely kept. Apartment had own sunloungers to use. Really only a short walk to beach and front area so is quieter than other properties and offers lovely views of the green hills and mountains. Negative: Altho we knew from prev visits to Almyrida where the apartment basically was we found it a little tricky to work out where the actual entrance was as there is no signage (probably due to each apartment being separately owned) and hardly any lighting at time of arrival (10pm) .We hadnt received the last email message from host with the final access info and door no. which didnt help. Our taxi driver assisted by ringing the agent for us himself and all was fairly quickly sorted.
